Lycette Gown from WTOO by Watters Bridal
This amazing gown is from the Watters and Watters Spring 2011 Collection. It was purchased in June of 2011 at a bridal boutique outside of Memphis, TN for my January 28, 2012 wedding.
The WTOO bridal gown Lycette is a re-embroidered lace trumpet wedding dress with an elegant V-neckline. The keyhole back is an extrememly popular bridal style and makes the gown extremely romantic. This gorgeous gown features a sweep train.
I knew the style of dress I wanted and looked endlessly for a full lace dress with keyhole back. After weeks for searching, I narrowed it down to three gowns that matched the style I was looking for - this Watters gown, a Monique Lhuillier and a Jim Hjelm. After trying on the similar styles from both Monique Lhuillier (Scarlet) and Jim Hjelm (JH8011), I chose the Watters because the fit was better (believe it or not!) than the two much more expensive designers. I was shocked to find that the fit was so wonderful on a dress that was thousands less!
The dress came with a pearl and crystal encrusted belt/sash, but it was not my style, so I choose to purchase a champagne silk shantung sash from the bridal department at Nordstrom (the sash is pictured in the photos above). It was a beautiful addition to the dress! I paid $130 for the sash, but I if you purchase the dress I am happy to include it free of charge. So ultimately you could have your choice to two different sashes... Or, you could wear them both! Completely transform the look of the dress for the recption by changing your sash!
This dress was everything I could have dreamed for and more! If you are looking for a beautiful, timeless gown that stand the test of time look no further! Months afer my wedding I am still receiving compliments on the dress. Additional images avilable upon request
