For sale is the gorgeous "Orchid" gown by Reem Acra. This dress is an ivory silk organza ball gown with chantilly lace bodice from the 2010 fall collection. It has an ivory grosgrain belt with a gorgeous rhinestone accent. It really is breathtakingly beautiful and so elegant, and also incredibly comfortable and light! I am sad to part with it, but glad that I might make another bride as happy as I was when I bought it.
The dress was first purchased for $3500, I'm selling it for $1300.
The dress is in excellent condition, with only minor alterations. The bodice has been taken in 1/2 an inch, but the seamstress assured me that this could be taken out again if needed. The length has never been altered, so the dress can fit almost any height.
It was been expertly dry cleaned and preserved by Sheer Cleaners in NYC. The bottom hem is almost spotless, and signs of wear are absolutely minimal. You can tell by the photos of the train and hem that the dress really is in almost immaculate condition. The delicate lace on the bodice is also still like new - no rips, tears, or pilling anywhere.
I purchased this dress from a wonderful seller on PreOwnedWeddingdresses.com for much more than I am selling it for. I never wore this dress at all - it was only worn to the original seller's wedding for a short 6 hours! The plans for my wedding changed and I therefore want to pass this gorgeous dress on to a bride who can actually wear it and show it off! My change of plans is your gain, as you can't get a genuine Orchid for less than this! :)
