The Melissa Sweet Mila Dress was Priscilla of Boston's Designer Pick. This strapless ruched french silk taffeta trumpet gown is featured with a small floral corsage beneath left hip. I had the dress altered with a subtle sweetheart neckline, bra cups, a new flower corsage (i have kept the original and it would be easy to replace if you like the original one), & a discrete 32 point bustle (perfect for after the ceremony). I am 5'9" and wore 2.5" heels so had the dress let out. Because the dress employs a dropped waist, it was very easy to have the dress let out & would thus be easy to tailor back to a shorter length. The sides along the bodice were taken in a little bit, all of which can be reversed.
This dress is in excellent condition (no stains, tears, snags, etc.) and has been professionally cleaned and stored.
Our wedding took place at a country club, but the timeless elegant style of this dress would work well at a winery/garden/barn/farm location as well as a black tie event at a mansion/museum venue.
