This is such a gorgeous gorgeous gown which I am sad to sell. It was one of my favorite parts of my whole wedding. I wore it outside for photos and for the ceremony that took place in the courtyard of a museum which lasted about 1 hr total including photos. Then the rest of the reception was inside the museum and was worn for a few more hours until i changed into my second dress.
This was purchased from Marylinn's in Pasadena CA in a size 4. It was made by the designer and took me about 8 months to receive. I then had it altered to a size 0. I am 5'4 and was about 98lbs. I was 5'10" with my shoes.
If you are interested I can provide measurements and also a link to my wedding video so you can see the dress better.
A bustle was also added by my seamstress so that I could wear it for our first dance.
I had it cleaned after the wedding but not preserved. There are no makeup stains, food stains, etc...however the bottom inside the ruffles may be slightly dirty just from dragging on the floor because it is so long. However, it cannot be seen by anyone and once you put it on and wear it around for photos, the bottom is bound to get dirty anyway. It is by no means dirty, it just depends on how closely you want to look underneath the bottom of the ruffles. The buyer will need to get it pressed before wearing.
I paid approximately $3500 + alterations.
