I have been wanting to sell this gown for a while now but with purchasing a home and a new baby on the way, let’s just say this has not been at the top of the priority list!! I purchased this dress for my destination wedding in Xunanatunich, Belize. I love that this is not the average wedding gown. It is fashion-forward and unique, without being too avant-garde. I wore a gray sash which I can include if you want it (for free). I wore this dress for about 2 hours; 15 min ride to the ceremony, 30-minute ceremony, 45 min for photos, 15 min ride back to the resort and then I changed into another dress once we returned to the resort. The dress was worn outdoors and through Mayan Ruins and obviously dragged the ground, so there is a tad bit of dirt at the very bottom of the gown. However, there is NO damage to the dress. no rips or tears. My veil is another story ☹ it got caught on a rock and ripped. Ha! Anyway, I transported it in a garment bag and on all of the flights (incoming and outgoing), it was hung in an empty coat closet. Once we returned home, I hung it in our closet and it was there until we moved to our new home, where I again, hung it in the guest room closet. Our home is non-smoking and we do not have any pets.
I included photos from the day because when I was searching for dresses I wanted to see what real brides looked like in the dress (not a model - no offense to models!) I am willing to negotiate with the price but don’t be TOO outrageous 😊 I really LOVE this dress and would have loved to pass it down to my baby girl BUT I realize if she is anything like her momma, she will probably want to make her own decisions regarding a dress SO I will part with it for the sake of space in the house!
Sizing: I am not busty – like at all, so there was room in the bust and I would probably recommend getting it tailored to lay completely flat to the chest. For me, it wasn't a huge deal so I left it as is. The waist was cinched and snug and everywhere else was roomy due to the ballgown feature of the dress. I am 5'5 and I ended up wearing flats but I originally bought 4 inch heels to wear with the dress and the dress still dragged the ground when I wore the heels (which is what I wanted).
